Some choice parts:

If the 06-06-06 date can not be avoided, make sure that the child is kept in a chicken cage on the hospital floor, and that there are at least two full grown hogs within four feet of the cage at all times.

Make sure you check under your child's testicles for any peculiar markings. For it is not upon the head (as the hell bound Catholics incorrectly believe and, by all other indications, should be the last ones to be wrong in this regard), but rather hidden in the rough skin on the nape under a newborn's tiny tallywhacker...

You might decide (as many Christian families in need have before you) that it is best just to sell your child to the cause of Creation Science.

Hi... This is Dr. Dissonance. My best friend Richard and I decided to do a podcast about music you may or may not have heard before.

You're welcome.

I'm in LA. Richard is in the Bay Area. This is one of the ways we keep in touch.

Treat the "Screams From The Void" comments area like you would our living room -- go ahead and leave your half-consumed beers wherever you like. The #1 rule is "Don't be lame."

We also would like comments in audio format. (Specifications: MP3, 64kbps, two minutes.) If they don't violate Rule #1, we might play it on the show. Just send it to "platformpodcast" at that Google email address thingy.

ABOUT THIS PODCAST

The Platform Podcast is the creation of two best friends — hundreds of miles apart — who wanted to share the music they love (as legally as possible) and the conversations they have.

These two friends are the kind of guys whom you would swear have a personal code against listening to bands played on radio stations that transmit at greater than 5 watts. While certainly not above nostalgic or even mainstream pleasures, they know you can get such things from pretty much anywhere at any time.

You all know the type. They can talk about great works of literature and film. They can kick your ass at Grand Theft Auto. The key points in their sexual development were Whitesnake videos and Colonel Wilma Deering in Buck Rodgers. You love them anyway.

So, don't think of this as a podcast. It's more like a form of opt-in auditory vandalism. Download us. Listen. Tell us what you think.
